El Clásico is played in Tekla.
Construsoft, technology partner of SDENG ENGINEERING BUREAU, presents the digital transformation behind the renovation of two of football’s most iconic stadiums: Spotify Camp Nou and Santiago Bernabéu — home to FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF.
As part of the ongoing transformation of Spotify Camp Nou, SDENG ENGINEERING BUREAU, in collaboration with Limak Group of Companies, is delivering the structural design of over 35,000 tons of steel, including critical components such as Tier 3, the suspended roof, and circular digital screens. This work will play a key role in making Spotify Camp Nou the largest stadium in Europe, with a capacity of 105,000 spectators.
The Role of BIM and Tekla Structures in the Project
The integration of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and Tekla Structures has been fundamental to the success of this complex project. BIM allows for detailed 3D modeling of the stadium’s structure, ensuring:
Optimized design: Every component fits seamlessly into the larger structure.
Enhanced coordination: Real-time collaboration among teams across multiple countries.
Increased precision: Reducing errors and ensuring high-quality construction standards.
By leveraging these advanced technologies, SDENG and our partners are streamlining the entire design and construction process, accelerating timelines and ensuring precision, consistency, and efficiency in every stage of the project.
