SDENG ENGINEERING BUREAU is participating in the SILLENO Petrochemical Complex Project in the Atyrau Region of Kazakhstan, a large-scale petrochemical development under execution by MAIRE TECNIMONT.
Project Overview
End User: Silleno LLP
Client: MAIRE TECNIMONT
Location: Atyrau Region, Kazakhstan
Purpose: Development of a world-scale polyethylene production facility with an annual production capacity of 1.25 million tonnes.
Initial Engineering Scope
SDENG was awarded detail engineering services for a scope approximately 5,000 tons of structural steel related to the project’s interconnecting piperack systems. All piperack structures belonged to the critical path of the project.
The execution of this scope commenced on 1 December and was completed on 28 February.
Scope Extension
Following completion of the initial package, SDENG has been awarded an additional engineering scope covering the three major process buildings:
• Elutriator Building
• Extrusion Building
• Purification Building
The combined structural steel weight of this additional scope is approximately 5.000 tons.
Project Scope
With the inclusion of the new assignment, SDENG’s total engineering scope within the SILLENO Project exceeds 10,000 tons of total 45.000tons (22%) of structural steel.
The scope includes detailed engineering, modelling, and steel detailing activities within a multidisciplinary project environment.
